Apple Cider Vinegar for Health
This right here has been a staple for me lately and something that I think anyone who is health conscious should consider implementing on a regular basis, if health and longevity is of any concern for you.
For starters there is the big benefit of controlling blood glucose levels, which if you are a bodybuilder can get a little out of whack do to the sure nature of the amount of food that you need to eat to gain size, or for some, just maintain the size that they have. Eating a surplus of food for long periods of time can definitely put your pancreases and digestive tract in a state of stress and adding AVC to your routine can help.
The main component of ACV, acetic acid, helps significantly improve insulin sensitivity which is one of the most important things that we need to monitor if building muscle or losing fat is of concern. When the body stops responding to insulin or digestion slows down, things come to a halt and progress will stall or even move backwards, and lets face it, who wants that? On top of that the acetic acid in ACV has been shown to improve cholesterol and overall heart health. For the aging male, or anyone who uses PEDs, that is of a huge benefit. Steroids and just the aging process in general can really put stress on the cardiovascular system and that is no bueno!!!!!
There are a few other benefits of ACV, but those are the big ones that I am concerned about, and you should to. Longevity and health is the name of the game, because again this is a lifestyle and there is no finish line to this. I plan on staying in this game for the long haul and adding ACV to my regime just helps make that possible!!!
